Existing shutter boxes provide ideal nesting conditions for birds. However, this often damages the insulation in the façade, as birds peck at it to create space for their nests. The appearance and function of the shutters are also affected, particularly by bird droppings, which can soil the shutters. Mechanical parts or the motor can also be damaged. Birds remember their nesting spots, and each year more birds return to find new nesting sites on other shutters of the building.

Solution:

In many cases, protective screens can be retrofitted. This prevents our small feathered friends from nesting there again.
